Nephertiti was designed at the Laykin et Cie attelier on Sunset Blvd in 1935 and originally featured choices of opaque Onyx, Lapis or Malachite.

    Our new interpretation of this stylistic gem ensconces gorgeous hand cut and polished gems to feature their stunning translucence devoid of the complexities created by facets. These stones which are hand carved in our workshop in Milan, Italy forcefully challenge the status quo with a bold statement of purity and resolution. Bergman and Bogart starred in "Casablanca", Greer Garson lit up the screen with "Mrs. Miniver" and Laykin fan Lana Turner starred in "Somewhere I'll find you" with Clark Gable. This significant 18KT yellow gold and platinum diamond bracelet was designed by Laykin et Cie by it very own glamorous designer Irma Laykin and was featured in the December issue of Harper's Bazaar (see image below). Reimagined for 2017 with a lovely hash mark gallery on it's underside this bracelet makes a statement like few others.  Bold and pronounced, yet sophisticated and sensuous in it's lines. This is a Los Angeles original from Hollywood's golden era.
