In 1932 Los Angeles hosted the Olympic Games. That same year in the "City of the Angels" Laykin et Cie was founded and several members of various Olympic teams made their way to the Laykin et Cie store and purchased unique jewelry and watches from S.W Laykin, the firms founder. This experience left an indelible impression on the young jeweler. Over 50 years later Laykin et Cie was proud to provide a variety of jeweled Olympic designs to clients during the 1984 Olympics. As we approach the final decision for the 2024 Olympic city; once again Laykin et Cie endorses and supports the selection of Los Angeles for these historic games.
